I’m a twenty-something who’s really taken to cooking vegetarian food lately, focusing on local food and lots of produce. I’m also an avid knitter, crocheter, embroiderer. I decided it was time to start a blog about being vegetarian, growing food and seeking out local food, knitting, and other crafty endeavors. I’m a big fan of various knitting blogs, which usually fuel projects I’m working on and I link to them whenever possible — I love the community created with knitting blogs. I’ve also realized the potential of blogs in educating people about how to be more sustainable in the way they live and eat, and I hope to contribute to that.
And I’ve got to throw some feminist critique in there every so often…
I do my best to give credit where credit is due for knitting patterns, vegan and vegetarian recipes, and ideas for what I’m working on. I’m all about sharing information, but please credit me and link to my blog if you choose to put my words and/or pictures elsewhere. Thanks!

I was very happy to find your blog! I am also a twenty-something who loves doing crafts of all kinds, wants to eat locally and responsibly, and am in a feminist oriented doctoral program!
One of my dear friends and I have started our own crafty-natural living type of blog. We will definitely visit yours again!
